Ozzy in 2008

Is Ozzy through with all the gigs this year or is he still in Europe on tour?

Once he's done obviously he's going to take a much deserved break. But after that anybody know what's on the agenda for the Ozzman?

Ozzfest is right around the corner so I'm sure he'll be tossed back on the stage again for a few more months.

ironface166, that's right. He's doing Ozzfest. Well there's my answer to that question.

Now these are just guesses, but what do you guys think Ozzy wants now at this point in his career? Personally I enjoyed the last album, Black Rain, so I'd always look forward to more studio albums. Do you think Ozzy wants a Black Sabbath reunion album or to just go forward with his solo stuff, with Zakk? I wonder. But I'll take what Ozzy gives.

Well, the Sabs have been trying to get him in studio to do a new album and he refused for the longest time saying it couldn't possibly be as good as the classic years, but when Dio rejoined the Sabs for Heaven & Hell, Ozzy told the press he was going to do another Black Sabbath album with the original members.

So, I'd guess that sometime after Ozzfest and the Heaven & Hell shows end that a new Sabbath album will be on the agenda ... maybe in 2009?

There is-that is confirmed by Iommi and Dio. A new Sabbath album with Ozzy is just one of those "I wish we could" things that likely won't ever come down.

Didn't he supposedly record to cd's back to back. Black Rain and another one. Not the Black Rain one with extra tracks but A different one . Damn that got confusing for a minute.

You're probably thinking about how Ozzy keeps talking about wanting to do a rock opera about Rasputin. :wink:

i feel zakk has been a let down lately i dont love the guitar in albums with zakk as much as randy or lee i would hope that zakk either gets back into working on his style because the guitar in ozzy is a huge deal so lets hope for some better work

unfortunately i have to agree with you wolfee, seems like nowdays Zakk is more busy with lifting weights, drinkin' beer and combing his beard than with workin' on his guitar style

well Alex i agree with you that i can't tell Zakk what (not) to do, he is old and mature enough to take care of himself. I just posted my opinion of the tought that wolfee started to develop. And i think that it is nothing wrong with this.

Beside that there is quite a few topics about Zakk's ˝spare time˝ activities - among which you started a few (btw i am happy that you did, they are very nice finds) - where rr.tk members are happily expressing their thoughts on that what he should (not) do and nobody cares if they do.
