Well we just got back.. I'ts a six hour drive there and back. It was a strange feeling being there, I'd been there once before but, this was the first memorial i attended. I only talked to two people. Mrs. Rhoads and Kelle. And that was very brief. Mrs. Rhoads signed 2 things for me and she was very nice about it. I wished i had talked to more people but honestly i was so tired because i had stayed up all night before, I work nights so i dont go to bed until about 7 or 8 in the morning, so i just stayed up. Randys girlfriend Jodi was there as well as Karl Sandoval and Kelli Garni, I wish i had the nerve to approach them ](*,) . But, it was a very nice experiance. BTW this is my son Ethan.. I wanted to middle name him Randy but, the old lady had other ideas and it was her moment so yeah yea.. his middle name is Russell.

Sorry about the poor quality.. I was using a cheap Aiptek camera and i forgot the 1g memory card so i had to take short clips.

This is my first post here. Been lurking for a while.

I have some video from yesterday as well (close to 30 minutes of video), but for some reason, the tape won't transfer to my computer. It's aggravating!

Forevernight, thank you so much for sharing those videos.

It's so great to see what it was like. So many of us really wish we could have been there, at least we have an idea of what it was like now.

Seeing the first video, driving into Mount View, took me back to my visit there with Des and Jamie. It was so different then, no one else was around.

Looks like there were cameras everywhere! and lots of people managed to make it, that's great.

The flowers look lovely too.

Great picture of you guys.

Thanks again :D

Yep there mine, Its a 1980 jmp 100 wat super lead with 2 1980 4/12 with altec 417 8h speakers. It took a long time to find all the right parts but the head was the hard part, You dont find a 1980 jmp for sale very often. The altecs come up on ebay all the time. This amp is the same as randys to the t without the mod. Same year, Same everything.

Thanks for posting those clips. I appreciate seeing what it was like.

I really hope that Delores didn't feel invaded by all of the extra attention and camera crews there on her visit to see her son. We are just fans, and he was her family.

Glad you made it. Thanks again.

No apologies necessary. It's not the quality of the video...it's the fact that you were kind enough to share them with us. Thanks again! :D

Outstanding intro clip into driveway. That was a great car stereo and your little camcorder has an excellent close-in mic to pick the song up with such power and clarity. That's a keeper. Like everyone else- I really enjoyed your footage. For me it felt like your viewing angles would have been my vantage point as well as I'm not one to jump right in the middle of the action, rather respectfully observe. Good job and thank you for sharing. So many of us wanted to be there but were unable- you gave us the next best thing- a few moments of documentation.

Thanks for shearing. Finaly found some time to have a look at it. Gives me a little bit of the feeling of beeing there and beeing part of it though I never have been there yet.
