 With March 19th rapidly approaching, I just wondered what everyone thought about having those who want to contact their local radio stations to remind them about the anniversary of Randy's death, and ask them to play some Randy/Ozzy/Quiet Riot tunes that day and maybe mention Randy. The worst they can do is say no, and it might make a neat tribute. I'll be glad to contact stations in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, and if we have more than one member in the same area, even better. The more people they hear from the better the chances they'll go along with it. What do the rest of you think? :?:

Cool enough! I'll start contacting the Dallas/Ft. Worth area stations and see what I can get going here. I think Randy would be overwhelmed by the flowers and other things that we're doing to remember him. Take care and thanks for the responses.

I just contacted the major rock stations in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area even some that say they don't take requests or that have a different format from Ozzy's music, so we'll see what happens. I'm hoping for something like what happened on Randy's birthday, when my clock radio went off that morning and they were playing "Crazy Train". We'll see what happens.
