"the Montreal version of Paranoid is straight out SICK! The fills he plays in this one, especially those harmonics, are so damn cool. He turned these into completely different songs for me."

I agree 100%!!

Of all the live RR recordings I've heard so far this show still grabs me the most... can someone upload a loss less version of the original set list to the "flac" section?

Really appreciate it and thanks for hosting such a cool board!

Ever since I recorded this off the radio way back when, this has been my favorite recording, of anything, ever. If I was only allowed to keep 1 disc from my collection, this would be it without hesitation. You can never get tired of the emotion Randy put into this show. And I love that heavy chorus sound too.

I was deeply disappointed when Tribute was released because I flat-out assumed Ozzy was going to use this show because it is so much better than Cleveland. But according to Rudy's book, Ozzy was really upset about this show. Ozzy said he hated his performance and the sound. Thank you to Rudy for that insight because I always wondered why Ozzy picked Cleveland and maybe that's it. But then Max Norman's interview is very interesting, because he said he thought both tapes were the same show in different mixes. If that's what he thought, why would he have used the Montreal solo in place of Cleveland?

Have you searched dimeadozen or other torrent sites? The version I have posted came from Barkatozz's torrent of the show.

This is a great show. When I was a kid I had bought a Bootleg of this show on Vinyl. I still have it 20 years later. Now only if I had a record player !

Cableguy i sent you a PM a few days ago and have not heard from you. Basically it was about the DVD i bought off you a few years ago, it included an enhanced version the montreal show on CD. It was much more clearer sounding than all these files going around today. I lost EVERYTHING about a month ago as far as my music and have to rebuild it up again. This is on the top of my list. Do you still have this?

I have several versions, including a lossless version that barkatozz sent, that I still need to upload. I'll check and see, just to make sure, but I'll send you a copy of the best I have.

much appreciated

Also anyone set there eyes on that 1980-1982 torrent that was going around for a few years, I got the bulk of my stuff from that file all in one shot, of course it is nowhere to be found anymore even though i saw it being seeded for at least 4yrs

Speaking of that have you ever thought of just uploading your entire collection all in one torrent?

**EDIT** Nevermind about that Montreal show, i just listened to one of the Montreal FLAC torrents i downloaded and it blows the one i though was great away!
