Is it just me or do Ozzy's vocals not sound live at all? *?

Gus seems to have finally found his own voice in Ozzy's band. That last imrov'd solo of his was awesome, and not like Zakk at all.

pretty sure it is live vocals, all the phasing matched what ozzy was doing, I think it's just a case of a lot of effects and stuff (like doubling......)

I wasn't sure if Ozzy was live or not but I noticed he didn't jump around a whole lot either. He seemed to be really concentrating on his vocals (my impression) and making them sound tight. Hey, it sounded great to me. If Ozzy wants to lip synch with the original recordings of BOO and DOAM when they come out in November that will be O.K. by me as well. Either way I'm happy for Gus and company.

Sounded great to me. It almost seemed awkward when Gus went into the solo and Ozzy went over acting like he was going to pull his hair like he did with Randy, but then just kinda backed off

He wasn't moving around much -- and he was looking down the whole time -- because he was reading the lyrics off the big video screen at his feet throughout the whole song. A couple of times -- at about 2:38 and 3:40 -- when they switch to the camera view from back behind the drumset looking out you can see the video screen with the lyrics on it down in front of Ozz.

I still love Ozzy, and I'm glad he's digging out the old stuff and playing it and everything, but I'm not sure I'd pay to see him live anymore. :? I'm glad I saw him back in his glory days.

No I agree he was obviously singing live at the time, but it really really sounds touched up afterwards. Still, like someone else said, could have been an effect on his mic.
