Hi everyone. Des, I see your posts over at ZW.com all the time. I am still waiting for the followup to the keyboard shredding video. hahaha... Wow, there are a lot of great guitarists here. I have been obsessed with Randy Rhoads since he was alive. I bought my 1982 Ozzy concert ticket while Randy WAS still alive. Then, it happened, and I was left with the Brad Gillis show. Brad was very good, but he had JUST joined. I don't remember how long Bernie Torme played, but it couldn't have been long, right? Brad definitely seemed like he was just learning all of the songs. Anyway, back in 1982, I was taking my little old record player down to 16 rpm, and learning some of Randy's harder stuff an octave lower that way. I learned FHA and OTM that way. I also had the Star Licks Randy Rhoads instructional cassette (long since been destroyed...bummer), and I learned every note on that religiously. So, anyway fellas, nice to be here, and maybe someday I can get wired up for some computer recording and play some of my solos. I am not nearly as into Tribute (gasp) as I am the studio recordings. For some reason the studio stuff just blows me away more than the live stuff. I am sure visually, Randy was amazing to watch. I talk too much...
Peace-
