My tribute to Randy using the Mr. Crowley backing tracks from guitar hero.

Thanks. Kinda did my own solo, but I like what I did. I used a Les Paul, Boss GT6 straight into my Tascam 2488.

You used good note placement I thought, most people ruin something when the do an ad lib to someone else's piece, but this fit well in the song.. It didn't make me think, oh great improv time.. LOL.. don't worry about it, you pulled off a good solo. God I miss my Les Paul... (it got stolen :(

very nice rythym tone and overall arrangement. you know it's hearing other peoples renditions of his music that makes me appreciate Randy's writing capabilities even more.

Thanks for all the kind words!
I will post another one soon that is more true to Randy's playing.
I also have an original I wrote a few years after his passing. I have the complete song, and title, but have never been able to come up with the words.
I titled the song EMG "Early Morning Darkness" AKA S.A.T.O.
The song is structured like I Don't Know.
I will record it and post it, and maybe all of you can help me pen the words :D

As gitrdanny said, the arrangement is really cool and I loved the volume swells. Very classy. 8) Hope to hear more soon.
