Atleast I think it is. Recently got a Vox Valvetronix 30w amp. Was playin yesterday and started to notice the volume of the amp would go from its normal volume to low volume and would swell back and forth every so often. Fired up the amp again today and still doing it. Though it may have been the guitar I was using so I tried my strat and it was doing the same thing. Anyone experience this before and have any suggestions?

That definitely sounds like an amp problem.

Have you tried a different cable first? It is possible it's the cable that's at fault. If it's not, I recommend just taking it back to the store and getting it replaced/refunded.

Well, let me know if that does anything.

If it's still having problems, then just take it to a repair store...
