Hello there fellow Randy Rhoads fans...

I am working on compiling the best versions of all the songs played live with Ozzy Osbourne. In the subject line is the name of the song....can you provide a date for what you feel is the best version of the song...or something about that live version is the best? For example, Paranoid - I think that the Milwaukee performance from Jan 22, 1982 is the best. I would then compile them all and hopefully clean them up and put them together as one superior Randy Rhoads concert. I need your input. Thanks.

Lambchops

Need the date...you mean the first show? There is some speculation that this may not be Glasgow...but i appreciate your input. That's exactly the kind of thing i was looking for....mind telling me why you liked it? Thanks

You're right lambchops, that show going around as Glasgow September 12, 1980 is actually Newcastle, UK October 17, 1980. The Glasgow 1980 show circulating is a fake and no known copy exists.

I gotta think about my favorite as there are so many good ones.

I prefer either version from New York 5-2-81. I guess I'm drawn to versions that sound like the Cleveland 5-11-81 show. :)

Here's my list. It's a mix between sound quality and the actual playing. Like there are some concerts where Randy has a better sound or does some cool fills or changes things up a bit I would've like to include, but because of the sound quality I've chosen another version instead.
