its the same fill he does during the verse after the guitar solo, on the tribute album.
so get a tab for crazy train from tribute,

im not going to try and do tab on here but it starts out with high E 9th fret and B 10th fret and slides up then back down. im pretty sure your finger position changes a little when u slide it up.

i dunno, youll get it when u see the tab. good luck.

Oh, I know that one. I'll be more than happy to type down the tab for you!

KEY:~~~~~~~ S.U. means Slide Up ~~~~~~~~~ S.D. means Slide Down ~~~~~~~~~ And the "~~~~~~~~~" don't mean anything, just ignore them.

E)---------------------------------------------------------------------
~~~~~~~~~~~~~S.U.~~~~~~~~S.U.~~~~~~~~S.U.~~~~~~~~S.D.~~~~~~~S.D.~~~~~~~~~~~~
B)--------10--------12---------12---------13---------12-------10-------
G)--------9---------11---------11---------12---------11-------9--------
D)--7-----7---------9----------9----------10---------9--------7--------
A)---------------------------------------------------------------------
E)---------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope this helps!
This is how i do it. I'm also sure Randy did it this way also:
e---------------------------------------------------
B---14h15--15/17\15p14-----------------------
G---14h16--16/18\16p14-----------------------
D---------------------------------------------------
A---------------------------------------------------
E---------------------------------------------------
***Your first first finger is barred over the C# and A (14's), and left in that poistion. Then hammer onto the D and B with your second and third finger. Pick the hammered notes and slide up with those same fingers to E and C#. Then slide back without picking and pull-off to the original notes. If you left your first finger barred the entire time, even while it follows the slides, it should work.
i play it like the tribute tab book, pretty easy that way.
also i have noticed this before, at 5:10 during the crazy train videohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRbPWcLode0, it looks like randy approaches the drums and says something. i always wondered if there was an extended outro or something? maybe randy says lets just end the song now? any thoughts?
He Is telling Tommy to do the main riff cause him and Tommy like at the very very end of Mr. Crowley on AH do the thing when the guitarist hits a chord and the drums hit a symbol so Tommy was going to hit the symbol at the same time, that's I believe is true but it got me thinking how could Tommy hear Randy playing if he was playing the drums :shock: It Is the best answer I can give you!
