OK, here's one:

Why isn't Gregg Giuffria participating in the reunion House of Lords concerts which occured Nov. 26 & 29?

Not sure if something so recent applies.

Hmm..kinda recent,( ) but I'll take a stab..last I heard regarding House Of Lords was Greg Guiffria got a solo deal for himself, so he declined to do a House Of Lords reunion. :?

Well, that's why he turned down the album. But in an interview he said a Giuffria reunion could happen, so I inquired if Gregg would be joining HOL for these gigs. Apparently, he's very busy as he was involved in a Hard Rock Casino in Biloxi. MI. But it was probably that caused it. If you remember Gregg from the 80's, he's really changed:

Guifrria reunion? Why? An Angel reunion would make more sense, as Guiffria wasn't that big of a deal. Least we know Craig Goldy is available now if a Guifrria reunion has to be done. Yeah, looks like Greg finally got a haircut.

OK, I have two reasonable questions; by that I mean they are more in the category of 80's metal trivia:

1. What guitar does Carlos Cavazo play in the Stay With Me Tonight music video?

2. The band Spectre General performed two tracks on the soundtrack of Transformers: The Movie. Spectre General was actually a pseudonym for what 80's metal band?

There. I'm done... for a while.

Maybe we should move this thread?

1. Honestly I've never seen that video from the Shortino album. If I had I'd know. I'll guess, a telecaster or a Les Paul? :?

2. If I remember right it was Kick Axe from Canada.

Since you're pretty up on QR-related stuff, how about this?

1).What LA band in 84 contained two brothers of then-QR members, who were they, what instruments did they play? Bonus point if you can say what band the singer is singing for now.

and this:

2). What 5 musicians made up the "super group" calling themselves the "Dudes Of Wrath" on the soundtrack for the 90's flick "Shocker" (which also featured Megadeth and Alice Cooper)?

Yes, it was a cream Les Paul. And yes, Kick Axe.

Ah, the band was Hurricane. Tony Cavazo on bass, Rudy Sarzo's brother on guitar, don't know his name.

Looked it up: Robert Sarzo, and Kelly Hansen is singing for Foreigner.

Also, looked this up: Dudes of Wrath: Paul Stanley, Guy Mann-Dude, Vivian Cambell, Rudy Sarzo, Tommy Lee.

Correct on all counts! I'll have to get a bit harder with stuff that can't be looked up so easily. Oh, actually I forgot, but there was another guy singing with Paul Stanley in "Dudes", famous songwriter Desmond Child. And as for Robert Sarzo, did you know he auditioned for Ozzy as well in 82? And I can see the resmblance between Rudy and Robert, but from a band shot of Hurricane in 84 I don't see it with Tony and Carlos.

Very good.. I was looking for "stun" guitar for Eric Bloom. That is another way of saying he often wore the guitar as much for show as for playing - he may have been better suited for the cowbell when not singing

 God knows where you googled that one from.. I'm not really a guitar/year expert, so unless I saw it somewhere I'd have no clue. I'll guess it was done on his Gibson Flying V or his Gibson SG.

No, I don't google (not yet), but someone (maybe you or Skeeza) has posted a few times saying "no googling" or something like that and somebody else said they had to "look it up" on some questions I asked. Do the math. And if you're trying to stump me (of course you are! ) make sure you know the answer too. If not I'll go with a guess or maybe someone else can chime in if I get it wrong.

Alright here's a few that should be very easy for some around here.

1. Name two bands that have recorded albums with the rhythm section of Frankie Banali and Chuck Wright. (Follis, don't dissapoint me.  )

2. Name the only two recorded (in the studio) songs featuring:

a) Sebastian Bach and Dimebag Darrell (too easy round here)

b) Sebastian Bach and Jake E. Lee

lol i have to say. funny as it is watching people try and think of unanswerable questions for ironface.I thought the point of this thread was not to try and stump ironface but to ask him a question you genuinly wanted to know the answer to, and i think its a little unfair that everyone keeps asking him the hardest questions they know as it kinda applies the pressure on him a little. Its all cool tho guys.
P.S does anyone know where i can get stay with me tonight as its a really great song.

I was going for Quiet Riot and Blackthorne. Frankie was in Heavy Bones, but I didn't think Chuck was. :? I thought some guy named Rex was the bassist.

1). Name the band Frankie Banali was playing in when he first saw Randy Rhoads playing with Quiet Riot.

2). Name the only two recorded (in the studio) songs featuring:

a) Sebastian Bach and Dimebag Darrell (too easy round here)

b) Sebastian Bach and Jake E. Lee[/quote]

3).Name the only song Darrell Abbott sang lead vocals on for a Pantera album.

I screwed up and wasn't even thinking of that Bach/Jake "Crazy Train", they also did "Working Man" (w/Billy Sheehan) on the Rush tribute album in the late 90's.

Oh, forgot, Frankie was playing in the trio Monarch when he first heard Randy. Rudy recommended him, and Frankie showed up two hours late and bumbled through the audition as QR was too "pop" for him (at that time).
