The 2 guitarists out of The Eagles?
What song did Ozzy play at the queen jubilee?
Blue Oyster Cult, Pantera and Judas Priest released a song with the same songname, what was it called?

1. Several ways I'm sure, but one is that he uses a metal pick.

2. I can name 3 that have been in the Eagles-Joe Walsh, Don Felder and Glen Frey. Remember my specialty is more hard rock/ metal and The Eagles ain't that.

3. "In My Life" with Slash on guitar.

4. No idea, but I'd be interested to know. "Revolution" maybe?

1. He uses a six pence, he has very cheap pick ups on his guitar and he uses a really badly made guitar amp made by John Deacon (when at uni) which is now the Vox Brian May special signature amp.
2. Correct.
3. Paranoid with tony iommi although he may of done in my life.;)
4. Blue Oyster Cult did a song called Heavy metal as did Judas priest, Pantera called theres Heavy Metal rules although they rarely say Rules,

Okay, you need to brush up on your knowldge of the questions you ask.

1. Brian May uses a metal pick so that is ONE of the ways his tone is affected, so I got that right.
2. I got that one.
3. Ozzy did do "Paranoid " with Black Sabbath, and you said "Ozzy", so I gave you the song he did solo-style. You should have known that one as you're from Britain where the gig took place.
4. The "Heavy Metal" question doesn't apply, as you got the titles wrong anyway by not adding the extra words. Could have been anything, so that's a bogus question. And in Pantera's "Heavy Metal Rules", the "Rules" part is VERY prominent if you've ever heard the song. It plainly says "Heavy Metal RULES". You need to give up trying to "stump the Iron" as you either go out of the plainly stated boundaries or don't know the answers to the questions you ask. Next!

1. At Dieter Dierks studio in West Germany.

2. Well, I know Bobby Rondinelli was brought in for the demos for the album because Herman Rarebell was having problems, but I think Herman ended up on the album in the end. (If not it was Rondinelli. )
During that same time frame, Jimmy Bain was brought in on bass for demos over Francis Bucholz as well.

1. 3 bread sticks and a bowl of second-pick soup cause they were out of French Onion and gyro salads.
2. Some guitar strings and some over-priced picks. (You would have bought the $2000 Les Paul but were upset because it had plastic tuning pegs. )
3. Some kind of high-mounted pickup truck.

 Smart ass! :P

Try using the 'interweb' as you call it and learn some stuff will ya.

I think we had a communication breakdown here:

Skezza asked what Ozzy played at the Queen's JUBILEE, not the recent Royal Variety Performance.

I think that's what happened.

I think he meant a performance from last year or the year before at the Palace where Brian May played the National Anthem on the palace roof and Sabbath did Paranoid.
Ozzy recently played at the Royal variety performance in Cardif, Wales and did In My Life. It hasn't been on the TV yet, i think it's being shown at the weekend.

Just googled, it was in 2002:

so his recent performance was his second in front of the Queen.

I think he had to turn down a previous invitation to do the Royal variety performance, maybe it has something to do with this being his first royal variety performance

Just looked up where I had heard that about it being the "first time he had played for the Queen" and found this from last month.

Ozzy Osbourne has told the Sunday Mirror that he will be on his best behavior during his performance for the Queen at the Royal Variety Performance later this month, according to Digital Spy.

"Finally the Prince Of Darkness gets to play for Her Majesty," Ozzy told the Sunday Mirror. "I'm proud to represent my genre of music — and it won't be too loud. I hope it's a great show.

"I did meet the Queen before at the Jubilee Concert. It was weird because I had been looking at her face on a stamp for 50-odd years — but I did notice that she has incredible skin."

I wouldn't say he's a friend as such but i do know him well.

That is me giving him a lesson in my teaching room.

The shred vid was done in my bedroom.

that article kinda contradicts it's self. It says he met her after the Jubilee gig. So is the article saying she just turned up after the performances?*L*

That's the way it sounds, but who knows. The "Finally I get to play for the Queen" sure sounds like he's saying it's the first time. Maybe she just went to the after show party and made the rounds, got Sharon's autograph, etc.
