Metallica- Kill em All. Just so much raw energy.

Megadeth-United Abominations. I really love the guitar work and tones on this album.

Joe Satriani-Super Collosal. What can I say? Joe can PLAY!

Slayer-Reign in Blood. Some of the fastest music of it's time!

Trivium- The Crusade- Nothing wrong with new, fast, Metallica influenced music!

Anything Megadeth is playing now. I've seen them Sunday and I realy liked it. Just got the new album United Abominations, and so far so good :)
I will be seeing Megadeth again on tuesday in Rijssen. It's their only club show this tour and as far as I can tell, the venue isn't too big. Going to be one of those sweaty thrash nights...

New one added to the mix: picked up Rory Gallagher's "Deuce" on CD while on vacation at a used record shop in Seattle this past week. :D

I haven't heard this album since I had it on VINYL many, many years ago, so this has been a nice trip down memory lane. Rory is just such an excellent guitarist!! 8)

That's easy, Wolfie:

Bryan Adams is the one with bad acne who sang odes to Robin Hood ("...everything I do, I do it for you...") and thinks it "cuts like a knife ... but it feels sooo right."

Ryan Adams is the temperamental but prodigious songwriting talent who curses out fans in concert who heckle him with shouts of, "Play `Cuts like a Knife' for us!" (Saw him in concert in New Orleans a few years ago and a fan did get drunk and heckle him with this and Ryan Adams did stop the show mid-song to curse the guy out.)

Stopped the show mid-song? Unprofessional, but funny.

Mid-song indeed!! I think he thought everyone would be horrified and mad at the heckler, but it was just so absurd that people started laughing. Ryan looked pissed off at that, and started a new song.

Hmmm .... I now count three of us that all have Paul Gilbert's "Get Out of My Yard" playing in our CD players. :-k Interesting.

It's the best instrumental shred-record since Passion and Warfare, what do you expect? :) Gilbert is awesome man.

1 - Motorhead - Better Motorhead Than Dead - Just an AWESOME record.

2 - The Scream - Let It Scream - My favourite album of all time (shares it spot with Number of the Beast mind). Speaks for itself.

3 - Skid Row - 40 Seasons - friggen amazin' by another one of my favourite bands.

4 - Ozzy - Blizzard Of Ozz - Need no comment. I love Randy with all my heart, that should speak for itself.

5 - Iron Maiden - NotB - I've listened to this record EVERY SINGLE DAY since 4th grade. For me; it's the perfect metal album of all time.
