Post subject:  R.I.P. Jeff Hanneman

I am surprised no one has made this thread yet, so a week later, I am making it.

Imo, one of the best riff makers, songwriters, in their genre. Jeff always to me was the cooler of the two, layed low and out of the spotlight, on occasion giving interviews for ESP and a select few. He had a family of servicemen who shared their war stories with him and he was a military enthusiast himself so its no wonder that lots of those killer tunes were written by him. I can go on and on..its all be said already..

A great songwriter and an innovator of the thrash movement in one of the best bands to come out of that time.
