Interesting for sure. Brian looks a little like Eddie Albert in those promo photos -Rhapsody in Green (Acres).

it is so fitting that one of America's finest song writers pays tributes to one of America's finest composers. Can't wait to get my copy!

Matthew, it's great to see Brian getting some of the best reviews of his career. This guy keeps bringing the goods. How many artists hit a streak in their 60's like he has (Pet Sounds & Smile tours, new albums and now this interpretation of Gershwin)?

He claims he was "in a rut" and this release was the outcome of that rut.

I wish more artists got into such a rut.

Dan

I had a sneak listen to a few tracks yesterday! 'They Can't Take That Away From Me' really bought a smile to my face! It really made me think of what he said in his book , 'Wouldn't It Be Nice', "I just want to make people happy"
:P :P

It is the child-like sound we have all grown to love!

As soon as the opening track (the Rhapsody in Blue intro) begins, it is a sensual delight on the ears, with all the hallmark Beach Boys harmonies pleasing you! I can't wait to really get into this baby!

I am thrilled he is getting great notices. He deserves it with his talent and the illness' he has (and probably still) suffers.

Matt
