I am actually teaching two brothers how to play Rock You Like A Hurricane. One of them plays the lead while the other plays the rhythm. I can't wait for the both of them to play the intro together which has two simultaneous lead lines. That will be so cool to hear. *r*
Oh yeah, I just saw them here in San Antonio about a week ago. Go see them...they are simply outstanding.

They've got Dokken with them on tour right now, this is the last time they're going to tour the world!

last album just came out a few months ago too, I've heard good things about all of it, but haven't heard the new disk yet. Old Scorps has always been killer. The thing about them is, they never had any big headlines about rehab or selling out or anything - they just kicked ass and took names for about 40 years now. *r*

Scorps have been such a solid band for so many years. 8) Even their last couple CDs have been strong efforts. It will be sad to see them retire, but they're going out on top as opposed to making crap music and playing in bars to 200 people like some of our other heroes from the 70s and 80s.... :?

Scorps!!!!! *r* *r* *r*

Their 70s era is my favorite. Uli Jon Roth and Michael Schenker! Uli is so good it is almost ridicilous.

You can probably guess who Yngwie Malmsteen's main influence on the guitar is.

Lonesome Crow, Fly to the Rainbow, In Trance, Virgin Killer, are great albums and Uli Jon Roth does some great guitar work.
