Should be fun. We'll expect a full report, Derek. *r*

Just got back from the gig. Had 2 opening bands and the second one featured Duff from Ace of Cakes on the food network. He played bass and they were an instrumental band. Not to shabby.

Ace took stage at 10. The songs he played were (in no particular order):

Rocket Ride
Snowblind
Rip it Out
Strange Ways
Lover Her All I Can
2000 Man
Rock Soldiers
Cold Gin
Shout It Out Loud
Parasite
Shock Me
Hard Times
Speedin Back To My Baby
Talk To Me
Love Gun
One Track fron his new album (name escapes me at the moment)

i must say he tore it up tonight. The guys he had backing him are excellent. They sang some of the kisd songs that were played. It was f**king loud especially since i was almost front row too... The loudest concert i have ever been to. Its good to see him sober and tear it up like he did. It puts scab kiss to shame

Very cool, Derek. Too bad he only played one orf the new tracks -- his new solo album rocks!!

There's a story on Blabbermouth with footage of several songs performed in Connecticut on March 19 the night before your show:

Yeah I was surprised he didnt play more newer songs..that or more from the Frehleys Comet era...I was wanting to hear Breakout. When he played Love Her All I Can that took me by surprise...wasnt expecting that. This was one of 3 gigs that hes playin in the US right now. He's in NYC tonight. If he releases more dates I highly recommend you go and see him! Im definitely going again if hes around here.

I'd love to see him again. Haven't seen him live since Frehley's Comet opened for Iron Maiden on the "Seventh Son of a Seventh Son" tour in about '88. *r*

oh that sucks. Im gonna try and make it, but im going on vacation the week following the show so i may not want to spend the money.

Im hoping they go on a tour just by thenselves. Ive noticed the past yeat or two they've been a supporting act or a co-headliner
