Anyone a fan? Just recently got into these guys with the CD "Z". If you are a fan of Floyd, U2, and just plain good music these guys bring it. Just a lil' ol' band from Louisville Kentucky.

I'll toss a link or two up soon.

Maybe a video will help. "Gideon" - the first song I heard by them:

Jim James is a heck of a singer in my book. These guys do covers too - everyone from Sly Stone to Metallica.

Dated a girl who was real into them for a second. They really know how to rock some sh*t out.

They are more associated with jam bands I think or atleast everyone I know that likes them is into the jamband scene. Not too many of those individuals on this board I'm afraid.

I love the 'It still moves' album, 'holiday' is a great song, you can see them playing on the movie "Im not there"

My Morning Jacket is totally awesome. You should check out their double live CD Okonokos. I hadn't heard any of their studio stuff but heard both these CDs and now I love every track. Very versatile yet well-written songs and melodies by that giant mountain man Yim Yames.
