Perhaps an odd question, but what sort of tuning did the fellas use on Metal Health and Condition Critical?

I did some investigating. Apparently they tuned between the two.

This is true.

When I played with Kevin, I asked him what tuning they used to use and he told me "a quarter step down" - I told him that was weird and suggested Eb.
We tried it and he liked it, and QR continued to tune that way till the end.

So everything after 2004 is a half step down.
