I've been listening again to Quiet Riot with Randy and I have a question for anyone that can help. Kevin mentions that the song Trouble has obvious Zeppelin and Boston influences. I know the Zeppelin song Good Times Bad Times is one obvious influence, but what is the obvious Boston influence on the song trouble?

Any help is appreciated.

Damn coneman, that's the song I mean, not More Then A Feeling. I only hear Boston via classic rock radio, so I only have like 3 choices

A bit off topic but has anyone notice a similarity in the solo in Liars by Queen and Picking Up The Pieces solo?

There's one similar lick, but it's easy to say Randy didn't copy it from that, it's a very basic thing, all he's doing is bending one note and pulling off to a second note. That's a common lick.

funny, I remember his brother saying something about how the
first Queen record was the first record they had and Randy really liked it.
