well ozzfest kicked of last night and not only are they playing "killer of giants" (which they did in europe) now they have added "fire in the sky" .....looks like ozzy is embracing his past this tour, maybe we can expect a few rare randy gems at some point (maybe around the release of BOO/DOAM).....

heres the set list

Ozzy's setlist was as follows:

01. Bark at the Moon
02. Let Me Hear You Scream
03. Mr. Crowley
04. Fairies Wear Boots (BLACK SABBATH cover)
05. Suicide Solution
06. Road To Nowhere
07. Shot In The Dark
08. Guitar/bass/drum solos & jam
09. Iron Man (BLACK SABBATH cover)
10. Killer Of Giants
11. Fire In The Sky
12. I Don't Want To Change The World
13. I Don't Know
14. Paranoid (BLACK SABBATH cover)

Encore:

15. Crazy Train (feat. 10-year-old guitar prodigy Yuto Miyazawa)

His setlist looks cool. Too bad he doesn't have enough other good bands playing with him on this festival to make it worthwhile to buy a ticket!! (for me, at least...)

They didn't play Killer of Giants at Tinley Park's Ozzfest. I was kinda let down.. :(

Motley was really good, so was Halford, but the big let down was all the no names and Zakk Wylde's BLS stuff was the only thing worth seeing on 2nd stage.. That and Skeleton Witch ;)

I just got back from Ozzfest UK. Had an awesome time, saw Paradise Lost who ive not seen in ages. Ozzy and the rest were on top form, Ozzy a bit fatter but far more himself than he was at Wembley 3 yrs ago, Gus did a top job IMO of nailin Zakk and Randys stuff, i must admit i wasnt really a fan from the new recordings he's not original enough for me, but he did a top job playing the old tunes. Really nice to see more Sabbath numbers than last time. Set list was

Bark At The Moon
Let Me Hear You Scream
Mr. Crowley
I Don't Know
Fairies Wear Boots
Suicide Solution
War Pigs
Road To Nowhere
Shot In The Dark
Rat Salad (jam)
Iron Man
Killer Of Giants
Into The Void
I Don't Want To Change The World
Mama, I'm Coming Home
Crazy Train
Paranoid

They were awesome dude. Played on the support stage, nice little stage close to the fans just like the good old days. Ive been into them from the beginning Lost Paradise days, as they were from the North of England like myself. Our paths crossed a few times when my old band supported Pagan Angel ( now Anathema) and everyone in the doom / death scene went watching each other. 8)
