well it looks like gus is gonna be on ozzy's next album.......hopefully he has dezakkafied all the songs *LOL*LOL*

According to NME.com, Ozzy Osbourne has set "Soul Sucka" as the title of his next album, which is slated to come out in June. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Let It Die", "Diggin' Me Down" and the title track.

The album, produced by Osbourne and Kevin Churko, will be the first to feature new guitarist Gus G. (FIREWIND).

SOUL SUCKA?

That title carries too much potential for parody usage if you ask me. That just doesn't get me excited like the title Blizzard Of Oz or Diary Of A Madman always does. Those carry great visual images. Is Ozzy's new album going to have something to do with Vampires? With titles like Let it Die or Diggin Me Down I feel like I am going to see a grave yard on the cover.

soul sucka sounds more like a gangster rap kind of album than a heavy metal album.

at the very least he should use correct english for it......

soul sucker....

but with that said, it still sucks as an album name. (or any name to be honest.)

If it is then they shouldn't post it on Ozzy's website. Now his website has the word SUCK on it. Never put the word SUCK next to your name. It's catches on in a bad way.

Well thank god ozzy has seen sense....

Quote:
Ozzy Osbourne has scrapped "Soul Sucka" as the working title of his new solo album. "When we put that on the Internet none of my fan base liked the title," Osbourne tells RollingStone.com. "They were like, 'I can't imagine me walking around the f**king house with the words 'Soul Sucka' on my T-shirt.' So I was like, 'f**k it. I've got to come up with something else!'" The now-untitled set is due out in July, the same month Osbourne says that Ozzfest will return after a one-year break. "After Ozzfest I'm doing the most extensive tour of my life," he says. "It'll be something like, 3,025 dates."

Ozzy's next album, his first since 2007's "Black Rain", will feature songs such as "Let It Die" and "Diggin' Me Down" and "Soul Sucka". The record will be the first to feature Ozzy's new guitarist, Greek native Gus G., who replaced longtime axeman Zakk Wylde in Ozzy's band last year.

Sounds like a trying to keep up with the times album, like Dream Theater did. I'd say eventually Ozzy will do like a lot of other artists and say "We're going back to our original early sound for this one," sort of like Metallica did, hopefully. That was a really big run-on sentence.
