I heard the announcement on the radio today that sharon osbourne is holding a press conference in 2 weeks to announce the new ozzy movie . They found a producer and lots of money was the quote used by her . Also sharon has picked kelly osbourne to play herself in the movie . I have a bad feeling ....about this . I hope they have a good script and Randy better be in it ..

Hopefully it will have an unbiased view of Ozzy and his career and not turn into a piece of Ozzy/Sharon propaganda. Actually, if it is done properly, it would be probably be quite interesting.

From what i read , the interviewer asked if Kelly would be a good choice to play her, she said yes for obvious reasons. I dont think they actually chose her though

Why would they make a film about him if they just spent all of that time making a personal documentary?

because a movie about Ozzy will get played in theaters nationwide but a documentary about him would not.

I think this is going to be a big couple years for Ozzy, the DVD box with Randy, A movie, and then a 18 month tour. Looks like one huge final paycheck for him.

I know Sharon is not a favourite by lots of us but jeez, credit where it is due; she is a marketing genius!

I'll bet you dollars for doughnuts that this movie will snap from early years to Sabbath,skim through the Randy years straight to present date. On a side note.....Johnny Depp is no longer in the running to play Ozzy and they are going with an unknown. I hate to say it but,I smell a bomb in the works.

I caught 'later with jules holland' last night which had ozzy on there.Jules brought up about the film being done and
asked ozzy who was going to play him and he said 'johnny depp' !!
He could be having a laugh but don't see any reason why he wouldn't get involved.
just wonder who would play Randy, the film is based on ozzy's book and there is a chapter
about randy so obviously he would need to be included...then again!

I am just thinking how funny it would be if there is a good looks role reversal in the casting! The oz, not known for his dashing looks, is ending up with the handsome Depp!

I am a huge Depp fan though. He can actually become people in his roles; not to mention he mimics accents convincingly too!

Damn I will have to see if there is a re run of Jules
